FEBRUARY HERF AT CUBITA’S
The Akron Cigar Club made its way to Broadview Heights. Cubita’s is located at 7924 Broadview Rd. They have a nice selection of premium cigars, a walk in humidor and a lounge with plenty of seating. Our thanks go out to “Willie” for allowing our members the use of his fine establishment after hours. Club members were also given a 25% discount on purchases made at the store.
Members from the Cleveland and Akron area exchanged ideas on economical ways of storing cigars. Setting up a “coolerdor” was the theme for the evening. An inexpensive humidifier using propylene glycol, distilled water, and oasis foam was presented. Propylene glycol has been purchased in bulk and is available to the members for less than any where else on the planet. Contact Trinidad Tom for more information about getting some PG. Paul Wing (Puff Grand daddy) pulled out the first pick for the monthly cigar swap. The “mystery cigar” was an El Rey Del Mundo. Not bad for a smoke chosen in the later round of the swap.
The March herf is on Wednesday March 30th at the Cashmere Cricket in Cuyahoga Falls. The club features live jazz. We are looking forward to meeting lots of new members at this upcoming herf.
