MARCH HERF AT THE CASHMERE CRICKET
The Akron Cigar Club was made welcomed at The Cashmere Cricket located at 2097 Front St. in Cuyahoga Falls. They had a small selection of cigars available for purchase but a nice cigars lounge. There is a small bar and a large screen TV in the lounge and plenty of seating. Wine, beer and liquor were available along with a good menu of sandwiches. Our host, Jim, guaranteed us a good time with live jazz on the main floor and a pool table in another room. He has made the Cashmere Cricket a venue that can be enjoyed anytime. This summer he plans to open his doors in the afternoon so keep an eye open for his business hours.
About 20 member were in attendance and participated in the monthly Trading Ashes cigar swap. Tim McDonnell had a shirt and several hats embroidered with the Akron Cigar Club logo and presented them for sale. He has the setup disk which can be used to have more made. The stitch-work was large and colorful; definitely high quality work.
The April herf is on Tuesday April 26th at OSI Tobacco in North Canton. We are looking forward to meeting lots of new members at this upcoming herf.
