OCTOBER HERF AT DOOGAN'S
The October meeting of the Akron Cigar Club was held at Doogan’s of Aurora. The restaurant featured a wide selection of imported and domestic beers as well as some delightful and unique appetizers. The casual atmosphere and excellent service, along with the backdrop of the World Series, made for a very enjoyable evening. Check out their web site. http://www.maxxdoogans.com/
For those cigar lovers from out of town Doogans is conveniently located near attractions of interest for the entire family. Geauga Lake amusement park and Marios International Spa are but a “stones throw” away. The Aurora Farms Premium Outlets is also nearby. These are great diversions to keep the rest of the family occupied while Dad sneaks off for a relaxing smoke at Doogans. Be sure to tell them the Akron Cigar Club sent you.
A special thanks to “Kate” for her efficient and friendly service. Kudos also to the Port Royal cigar shop in Solon for donating some fine smokes to the club. Each member in attendance received one of these cigars and the rest will go into our club “stash” for future raffles.
